ABOUT ME
Hello, I am Mrs. Montes, the PSW, Counselor at Sylmar Charter High School. I have worked in different roles/settings in the mental health field, and I am excited to join the Sylmar team. My role as your PSW is to provide social and emotional support during these challenging times. I will be available via telephone and zoom as needed.

Although we have not had the opportunity to meet in person, I want to share a little about me to connect on a virtual level. I enjoy spending time with my family, backpacking/camping, running and lifting weights. Other hobbies include writing poetry, reading, painting and drawing.

Parent/Guardian must provide verbal consent over the phone/video conference in order for me to communicate with students (including those 18 and older). Parent/Guardian will be asked to verify their name, relationship to student, and address at the beginning of our appointment.
